The Pavilion at Haggin Oaks

Our most popular option, this beautiful white tent is nestled in between the 17th fairway and 18th green on the championship Allister Mackenzie Golf Course.  With drapery and dimmed wrought iron chandeliers, this space showcases elegance as soon as you walk in.  Make your way through the back doors into the lush garden area where guests can enjoy cocktails under our white gazebo or sit underneath our 145-year old Heritage Oak tree.

The Clubhouse at MacKenzie’s Sports Bar and Grille

For a more intimate party, Mackenzie’s Bar & Grille is the perfect fit.  Accommodating up to 75 guests, the restaurant offers ambiance and charm for a memorable event.  Whether guests would prefer to gather inside and enjoy the bar, or sit out on our outdoor patio that overlooks the golf course, this space has something for everyone!

Lakeside at Bartley Cavanaugh

Ode to the Seasons

For newly engaged couples, one of the first questions one must answer before the planning process begins is – which season?  The colors, the dress, the menswear, the décor, the ceremony site, the reception site… EVERYTHING is based around what time of year you decide to tie the knot.

For most of us lucky Californians, we get to experience the changing of the seasons without drastic weather conditions such as snow and humidity.  As we look out of our office windows today and see the changing leaves, there’s no doubting that fall is now upon us.  So as an ‘Ode to the Seasons’, our post today not only celebrates the changing of the seasons, but takes a look back through the last couple of year’s weddings that we have been so fortunate to be a part of.  These pictures prove just how amazing your wedding can be at the Pavilion, no matter what season it may be.

Let the Thunder Roll…

Even though we would like to think differently at times, there are some things that even us wedding coordinators cannot control.  Weather, unfortunately being one of them.  Although we wish we we had the hands of God to suddenly part the clouds, sometimes we just have to take what we are given and run with it.  But what we love to see is when couples such as Jenny and Jason embrace a slight (or even at times, drastic!) change of weather.  And embrace it they did!

A little rain, thunder (and yes even lightening!) was not going to keep this amazing couple from walking down the aisle over the weekend.  Instead of trying to fight Mother Nature, these two showed us how a change in the weather can add an unexpected, yet breathtaking backdrop to an already beautiful couple’s pictures.

Most brides would be running for cover when a little wind picks up, but not Jenny.  Staying calm and collected, she truly proved how wind can create a stunning addition to photos.  One thing is certain, any brides who are considering opting out on a veil this season, may be thinking twice after seeing these incredible photos.
