Wedding Spotlight: Nicole & Jared

Nicole and Jared’s charming navy blue, gray and coral wedding is a baseball lover’s dream.

Nicole and Jared share a love and passion for baseball – Giant’s baseball to be exact. Their wedding just happened to fall during the 3rd game of the 2014 World Series. They were able to interweave their love throughout the wedding making it a personal and fun filled affair. We think you will agree!

Chris Howard captured their day beautifully for us to share.

Wedding Day Details:

The couple interwove the baseball theme seamlessly throughout their wedding. “We are big baseball fans, so we gave the groomsmen engraved Louisville slugger baseball bats and incorporated them in our pictures.” The groom wore baseball cuff links made from a MLB game used ball, a gift from the bride,  and the happy couple grabbed a glove and bat showing off their playful personalities.

An early morning rain had the couple crossing their fingers that it would clear in time for their outdoor ceremony. “It rained the morning of our wedding and we were unsure if we’d be able to have our wedding ceremony outside, as originally planned. The skies cleared and the morning rain made out for some great lighting throughout the day.”

Was there and overall theme for wedding day?

The ceremony was outside at Haggin Oaks and had more of a rustic feel. Think wine barrels, reclaimed wood “LOVE” sign, personalized corn hole boards and the natural beauty of being in a golf course setting.

The reception was inside the tent at Haggin Oaks which has more of a romantic and elegant feel. Beautiful chandeliers and candle light, navy blue damask table accents with roses and hydrangeas as part of our floral center pieces.

A Unique Personal Feature to the Day

Incorporating family traditions into the day. Nicole and Jared made a variety of delicious homemade Italian cookies and gave them as their favors in individual cookie boxes for each guest.

Advice to those Planning Now:

Try not to stress too much about the weather as it’s out of your control.
